ESCAPE TO FREEDOM
2023, 6 weeks project - University
Covering a 1.5 meter distance using only carboard, aimin to use as less material as possible, holding as much weight as possible.
BRIDGE TESTING AND FINAL RESULTS
the project is divided in 2 main bodies or stages, being the first one the inspiration and secondary research, where examples of successful structures were analyzed as well as the characteristics of the materials used. The second project stage applies the results of the first one through tests and trials.
all of the pieces are joint without any glue or joining material in order, just by the position and tension created in the relationship between the pieces. The aim of this desicion is to reduce weight in the structure and create more efficient structures .
